Pro at a few things: AI, Cloud, insurance automation and disc jockeying.
I'm a solutions architect. For the last five years I've designed and delivered insurance platforms, from sales and quotation through underwriting and new business to claims, for insurers in South Africa, Singapore, the UAE, the US and India: the architecture, the process orchestration, the rules, the integrations, and lately the agents that do the work inside them.
Before that, five years as a software developer at IBM. Before that, a mechanical engineering degree and a childhood spent moving between more cities than I can list on one line.
Now
Agentic systems for real insurance work. MCP servers that give AI agents an insurer's actual capabilities, policies, claims, documents, rules, and the agents built on them: claim registration and fraud screening first. Underneath, the tooling that lets agents build, verify and run the platform itself. Writing about what that construction method looks like when it has to hold up in production.
